Sadness and joy are upon me at the same time. We are moving to Bethesda, Maryland in two months and, of course, the news is bittersweet.
I am excited for this new adventure, for the opportunity for my children to see more of the world, for my husband to be challenged in his new job, for the hardwood floors in our new home :), for the green and the four seasons, for trees that actually create open shade and for new clients and friends.
But I am sad to be leaving all of my wonderful clients and friends here in Las Vegas. My business has taken root here and many of my clients have become friends. This is where Roaming Reflections Photography has grown wings and left the proverbial nest.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of my life for the last five and a half years. Thank you for supporting me, encouraging me, hiring me :), and for loving your families enough to invest in professional photography. The years fly by so quickly that we wonder where that chubby-cheeked toddler went. Do me a favor and find another photographer you love and keep taking pictures! These fleeting moments are priceless.
So here’s to starting anew in Maryland – I will be serving the Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Rockville, College Park and surrounding areas of Maryland as well as the Washington DC metro area and Fairfax County, Virginia. I will continue to photograph families, children, babies and newborns. I might even publicly offer my services for weddings (until now, they’ve been underground). 🙂 If you live in any of these areas, I will be available to book sessions starting the end of March 2012.
